THE ASK

The Perigold team created quarterly catalogs for their customers. I led design and layout for several of the catalogs. In 2024, it became clear that Perigold needed a robust, scalable solution to support quarterly catalog production: visually cohesive, on-brand, and efficient. Our goal was to create a flexible design system that allowed fresh editorial direction each season without starting from scratch every time.

THE SOLUTION

  • Template-Driven Editorial Design: Collaborating with a fellow designer, we developed flexible visual templates that could adapt to varying seasonal themes, yet remained unmistakably Perigold.

  • Design System Toolkit: These reusable layout frameworks formed a comprehensive visual toolbox, ensuring consistent brand presence while speeding up the creative workflow.

  • Seasonal Storytelling: Each catalog adopted a thematic narrative like "The Personal Oasis" (Spring 2024), "Mindfulness" (Spring 2023), and the Winter 2022/2023 Holiday issue, supported by cohesive visual frameworks and typography.
